Affiliated with the INDUSTRIAL AREAS FOUNDATION, Helping Empower Local People (HELP) trains ethnically, culturally, and economically diverse leaders to take action on the issues that affect their lives. Engaging congregational leaders, HELP identifies and trains new leaders in the skills of public life to build power that is reciprocal, informed by religious traditions, and that includes more people in solving community challenges.
