New Youth Minister Joins our Staff
We are delighted to welcome Steven Burleson onto our staff and into our membership. We will formally introduce Steven to the congregation on Sunday, October 9, as he helps lead in worship and joins the church alongside other new members.
The members of the interviewing team think Steven will be able to do all of those things wonderfully well at HCUCC. He brings years of ministry experience to this role having served a variety of churches in volunteer youth leadership roles since 2003. Steven is currently training as a spiritual director at the Haden Institute and will beginworking on an MA at UNCC this January. During his tenure at UNCC he has received several awards and recognitions and helped found their new Interfaith Alliance.
Please welcome Steven to HCUCC! We will host a Youth and Parent luncheon for him immediately following worship on October 9 and hope that will be a great time for many of our families to join in extending a warm welcome to our newest staff member.
