Youth Programs are Blasting OFF!

On October 29th, the HCUCC Youth Group made a trip out to Monroe to explore the corn maze at Aw Shucks Farm. And more events are on the horizon. The youth had a great time engaging in conversation, finding their way through the maze, and catching a lift on the hay ride. This one of many events that will be bringing students together for fun, community, and justice this Fall and Winter.

A Thanksgiving meal for the youth is coming around the bend! The meal will be held at Steven and Leah Burleson’s home on November 27 at 10am. Yet another opportunity for students coming in January (13th-16th) will be the Annual Winter Youth Retreat. This retreat will focus on the call to do justice in our community and world. This retreat will be an excellent time for students to have a blast on the slopes skiing, snowboarding, or hanging out in the lodge while conversing about the weekend’s theme. These events represent only a small piece of the fantastic year our youth ministry has in store!
